Mental Health & Wellbeing Awareness for Managers
COURSE DURATION - 1 Day
OVERVIEW
This course has been designed for managers to raise their awareness of mental health and wellbeing so that they can do more to support people, promote positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and encourage a healthy, tolerant working environment for all employees.
OBJECTIVES
Describe what is meant by mental health and wellbeing
List the facts and statistics relating to mental health and wellbeing within society, UK industry and the workplace

Substance Misuse Workshop for Managers
COURSE DURATION – 1 Day
OVERVIEW
This one-day course has been designed to introduce managers to the Company’s Workplace Substance Misuse Policy and raise awareness of drug and alcohol issues within society. It includes an understanding of relevant legislation and Company policy with a view to enabling them to effectively deal with substance misuse issues within the workplace.
OBJECTIVES
Describe the need for a formal Workplace Substance Misuse Policy
List related legislation and regulations and an employer’s and its employees’ responsibilities within the law
Recognise illegal drugs and signs of possible substance abuse
Discuss the impact of drugs and alcohol within the workplace, including the use of medication
