PBC Feeling Safe for Life Programme for Young People

COURSE DURATION - 10 Sessions

COST - £350

OVERVIEW

Our newly accredited programme is thoughtfully designed for both group and one-on-one delivery. Its primary goal is to provide young people with important life skills to know how to support their mental health and wellbeing. It is designed to bridge the gap between identified needs and the limited availability of services like CAMHS or specialized counselling. It is important to note that our program does not aim to replace these services, but rather, it serves as a proactive approach to either prevent the need for further interventions or equip individuals with the knowledge and strategies necessary to enhance the effectiveness of subsequent interventions.

Our programme is flexible and modular, allowing providers and learners to tailor their participation according to their specific needs while working towards accreditation. Above all, it is grounded in the principles of Protective Behaviours (PBs), with a central focus on enhancing mental health and overall well-being through PB self-management strategies. It is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of lifestyle choices and various factors that influence well-being.

Facilitation training is available for Tutors or Trainers – see section below.
