OVERVIEW
Supporting staff wellbeing is becoming an increasingly recognised requirement in the workplace. Offering staff the space to discuss issues and concerns in a safe, supportive environment can help to improve staff relationships and minimise time off work.
The professional Supervision we offer is underpinned by the Protective Behaviours Process and based on a variety of PB models to support individual or groups of staff to reflect, review and identify professional goals. The Supervision process encourages staff to use Protective Behaviours ideas and strategies to extend their own professional practice and care for their own wellbeing. By enabling staff to feel safe in the workplace, organisations will be a more effective in achieving their outcomes. Supervisors are experts in the field of Protective Behaviours and specialists in clinical-type supervision techniques.

PBC Individual Protective Behaviours Programme

OVERVIEW
This specialist delivery is based on the whole framework of the Protective Behaviours Process. An extended version of the PBC Introduction to Protective Behaviours, it also considers the effects of trauma on individuals, and the way Protective Behaviours provides a practical way forward. Delivered by PBC Registered Trainers, the Programme content is tailored to the learning requirements of the individual. The Programme is flexible to ensure the learning experience feels safe, supportive and is beneficial.

OBJECTIVES
Understand the key principles of the Protective Behaviours Process.
Understand the effect of Unwritten Rules on wellbeing and personal safety.
Explore ‘feeling safe’ as a fundamental human need and the value of this as a human right.
Understand that Protective Behaviours offers effective safeguarding using practical skills to improve practice.
Recognise the significance of being connected, having a network of support, to build individual resilience and develop safe relationships.
Use the Seven Strategies and in particular, the Language of Safety, as a practical approach to finding solutions to life challenges.
Achieve 6+ CPD hours; receive PBC Certificate; receive ‘PBC Introduction to Protective Behaviours’ E-manual.
PBC Protective Behaviours New Technology Development Consultation

With a genuine curiosity for new ideas, we invite partners to work with us to develop the best quality Protective Behaviours technologies.
In association with the Feeling Safe Foundation, we will ensure that both the content and context meet our high standard of Protective Behaviours product knowledge. Experts in the field will provide advice and relevant knowledge for a successful outcome.

Safeguarding Policy into Practice Guidance

OVERVIEW
We are passionate about protecting people from harm, victimisation and abuse of any kind. We see Protective Behaviours as an important approach in putting safeguarding policy into practice. Safeguarding policies are best implemented when people feel safe with the practical processes and can explore issues or concerns safely. Encouraging curiosity in response to intuitive recognition that someone may need support is a starting point from which Protective Behaviours strategies, in particular the Language of Safety, can be effectively used.
Experts in the field will provide relevant knowledge and advice to organisations about the best ways to put safeguarding into practice in the context of that environment.
